Spicer’s Music was founded by the Spicer family in 2012 with the goal of serving the music needs of our community. We strive to provide world-class customer service through our knowledgeable and friendly staff, create a welcoming and cozy environment in our store, and foster a sense of belonging within our customers.
We are proud to offer excellent products from top brands like Taylor, Fender, Gibson, Epiphone, Martin, Roland and PRS. In addition to the big names, we also stock various boutique brands like JAM Pedals, Bunting Guitars, Cornerstone Music Gear, Mythos Pedals, Dan Drive, and more! Our lesson program is a unique feature of our store which gives children and adults alike the chance to receive qualified instruction on just about any instrument you can think of. We are proud to employ professional local musicians and students from Auburn University as lesson instructors. We have over 500 students in our lesson program -- and counting! Our popular Summer camps give local kids and adults the chance to live out their rockstar dreams in a friendly and encouraging environment. Over the course of a week, campers are assigned to bands and write original songs, learn covers, and even perform live in front of an audience. At the end of the week, our Rock Camp Pro bands even get to perform their sets live at the Telfair Peet Theatre on Auburn University's campus!
In addition to retail, lessons, and camps, we also offer repairs on guitars and tube amplifiers! We offer quality maintenance and repairs ranging from full setups to bridge and neck resets. For more intensive work, we will defer to talented Columbus-based luthier Frank Schley of Silvan Guitars. For tube amp repairs, we work with renowned amp maker Sam Timberlake of SamAmp, who will get your amp sounding better than ever!
