The new Prophecy Les Paul™ represents an outstanding example of this vision. It features a satin-finished, Ultra Modern weight-relieved mahogany body with a maple cap and highly flamed maple veneer. The neck/body joint features a Modern Contoured Heel, pairing classic visual form with enhanced upper-fret access, and a belly comfort carve is also included on the rear of the body. The satin-finished, thermally aged one-piece maple neck is reinforced with graphite rods for enhanced stability and long-term reliability. The fast-playing Hyperglide profile ensures exceptional speed and comfort. Its extended 25.5” scale length is ideal for modern tunings, offering enhanced string tension and clarity for drop-tuned performance.
The bound ebony fretboard features a 10”-14” compound radius and 24 stainless steel frets, creating an exceptionally smooth, durable, and precision-focused playing surface. Black mother-of-pearl block inlays reinforce its sleek visual identity, while the multi-ply-bound headstock, adorned with the Epiphone logo and Custom split diamond inlay, delivers an unmistakably premium aesthetic.
Black hardware reinforces the modern, aggressive design. Locking Grover® Rotomatic® tuners, a GraphTech® nut, and the LockTone™ Modern bridge work together to provide outstanding tuning stability and consistent performance. The through-body Frequensator influenced tailpiece design enhances string-tension balance, delivering articulate lows, expressive highs, excellent sustain, and effortless string bending.
At the core of the Prophecy Les Paul’s sonic versatility are custom-voiced Fishman® Fluence® pickups, designed specifically for the Prophecy series. These advanced electronics provide three distinct tonal voices via intuitive push/pull volume and tone controls:

- Vintage Patent Applied For-inspired humbucker character
- Optimized single-coil-inspired clarity
