From Gibson:
Victory performance without compromise
The Epiphone Prophecy series has been completely reimagined for players who demand uncompromising speed, precision, and tonal authority. More than an evolution, this is a full redesign from the ground up. Built to meet the demands of today’s serious musicians, the new Prophecy series combines iconic Epiphone heritage with forward-thinking performance innovation, delivering refined instruments that are aggressive and purpose-built for modern players.
Powerful, articulate, and boldly designed, Prophecy series models represent the forefront of Epiphone’s Modern Collection, offering premium craftsmanship, advanced tonal flexibility, and high-performance specifications tailored for today’s most demanding musical styles.
The new Prophecy Victory FR represents an excellent example of this vision. It features a satin-finished mahogany Victory body with a highly flamed maple veneer, pairing classic form with modern sophistication. The satin-finished, thermally aged one-piece maple neck is reinforced with graphite rods for enhanced stability and long-term reliability. The fast-playing Hyperglide profile ensures exceptional speed and comfort. The Prophecy Victory FR’s 25.5” scale length is ideal for modern tunings, offering enhanced string tension and clarity for drop-tuned performance.
The bound ebony fretboard features a 10”-14” compound radius and 24 stainless steel frets, creating an exceptionally smooth, durable, and precision-focused playing surface. Black mother-of-pearl dot inlays reinforce its sleek visual identity, while the multi-ply-bound Explorer™-style headstock, adorned with the Epiphone logo inlaid in mother of pearl, delivers an unmistakably premium aesthetic.
Black hardware continues the modern, aggressive design approach. Locking Grover® Mini Rotomatic® tuners, a Floyd Rose® R3 locking nut, and Floyd Rose 1000 series locking tremolo bridge work together to provide outstanding tuning stability and consistent performance, no matter how enthusiastically you work the bar.
At the core of the Prophecy Victory FR’s sonic versatility are custom-voiced Fishman® Fluence® pickups, designed specifically for the Prophecy series. These advanced electronics provide three distinct tonal voices via intuitive push/pull master volume and tone controls:
- Modern high-output active humbucker™ tones
- Vintage Patent Applied For-inspired humbucker character
- Optimized single-coil-inspired clarity
This wide tonal range allows the Prophecy Victory FR to excel across gain-heavy modern genres while maintaining the versatility required for recording, rehearsal, and live performance.
The Prophecy Victory FR delivers tight low-end response, focused mids, exceptional articulation, and remarkable consistency under demanding conditions. Every specification is engineered to serve players who require performance without compromise.
When modern musicians demand speed, comfort, and precision, the Epiphone Prophecy Victory FR delivers. Complete with a Protector Ultralite case for secure transport and storage, the Prophecy Victory FR represents Epiphone’s boldest vision for the future of modern guitar.
